Markets Update:

The US Dollar weakened slightly against most major currencies overnight, except the Japanese Yen. USD/JPY started the trading day at 109.95 and rose to a high of 110.15 later in the session, supported by the rally in Japanese equity markets. Resistance is seen at 110.40 and 110.60; support lies at 109.65.

EUR/USD volatility has been subdued in the past 12 hours and the pair consolidated in a 1.1195-1.1210 range overnight. Similar price action was seen in GBP/USD, which was caught in a 1.4590-1.4610 range. The Pound has remained resilient after stronger than expected UK retail sales data and the Brexit referendum poll on Wednesday.

AUD/USD recovered after bouncing off 0.7175 yesterday and rose to 0.7242 in Asia. NZD/USD found support at 0.6710 in yesterday's NY session and reached 0.6740 ahead of the Asian open. Later in the session, it extended gains to 0.6775.
